About this Event
Walk With Me is a fitness event for any and everyone. Its primary focus is to get people moving regardless of your situation and circumstance. No matter what the may be weather, your physical limitations, or financial situations. We want you to have options.
How it Works:
Dr. Keenya Staten will provide a scheduled time in which she is will be actively walking (indoors or outdoors). These times are ususaly late night, as this is best for her. If you desire to co-host additional times please let her know and we can make it happen.
The goal is for you to check-in during the scheduled time. This promotes accountability. After you check-in you can START WALKING... in your house, neighborhood, or where ever you like.
Dr. Staten may post live video feeds, but not always. However, it is expected that you post your final activity workout log, photo, or journal as a form of self-tracking and accountability. Tracking has been shown to help promote weight loss when accompanied with dietary modifications.
We hope to add additional hours and days to accommodate as many people as possible to motivate and assist with their physical activity and mental well-being throughout the day. Feel free to leave us comments, feedback, and suggestions as we progress with this program.
