According to Governor Roy Cooper's Executive Order #215, following guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), fully vaccinated individuals can safely do most activities without wearing a mask or the need to social distance from others. The state of North Carolina removed its indoor mask mandate for most settings, effective May 14, 2021.
In accordance with the above Executive Order, Anew Weight Loss Center has removed its mandatory mask requirement for vaccinated customers. To ensure the safety of our customers and staff, if you have not been vaccinated please continue to wear a facial covering when entering the office. To protect your healthcare privacy, our staff will not ask if you have been vaccinated. The CDC states, "people are generally considered vaccinated two weeks after their second dose in a 2-dose series and two weeks after a single-dose vaccine."
If you are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms (cough, fever, chills, loss of taste/smell, fatigue, etc) we ask that you schedule a telemedicine visit or reschedule your appointment until your symptoms have resolved. Any vaccinated or unvaccinated customer with an active cough will be required to wear a mask within the office setting.
